Driving the vision of better mental wellbeing for young people across the South Lakes of Cumbria.
Right now, levels of mental ill health amongst young people are on the rise; worsened due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. 1 in 10 children in Cumbria have emotional and wellbeing problems., not to mention, Cumbria has one of the highest national rates of hospital admissions and crisis referrals due to mental health conditions: including suicide, self-harm and self-injury.
Working alongside young people, we together design and deliver new therapeutic programmes, projects and initiatives. Based within local schools and the community, we also run campaigns and events that promote mental wellbeing whilst always raising awareness and understanding of mental ill health and the stigma that is sadly still associated with it.
We understand each person’s journey with mental health is unique. How each person rides their waves of mental health is different.
But wherever you are.
Whatever you’re feeling.
We here to take those next steps together and
